Dr. Jenn Shaver
Jennifer Shaver, Ed.D
Dr. Shaver has been a fierce advocate in education for 15 years having served as a middle school math teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, Title I specialist, assistant principal, district administrator, and head principal. Dr. Shaver graduated with her BS and MS from Texas A&M University, completed her Principal Leadership certificate through Texas State University, and graduated with her doctorate in educational leadership and school administration in 2019 from Oklahoma State University; focusing on early career teachers preparedness in their first years of teaching. Through her many different experiences in education she has always advocated on behalf of students and student learning; focusing on the growth of all students.
While serving in a leadership capacity most of her career, Dr. Shaver leaned on the foundations of Marzano High Reliability Schools and Professional Learning Community frameworks, achieving HRS Levels 1, 2, and 3 certificates as well as Model PLC status at 2 schools she served at (two of only six schools in the state of Oklahoma), most recently achieving Model PLC status in the first 3 years of opening a new building. Adopting these principles from the get go helped in establishing a foundation and framework that supported teachers and students in their learning progression.
With a successful career rooted in faith, community and hard work, Dr. Shaver is excited to continue the work as an advocate for all students, staff, and schools!
